Epic Water Filters was founded in 2015 by Ash, who had just moved to the US from Asia and witnessed first-hand the plastic pollution on beaches, prompting him to seek a solution to this environmental crisis.

We named our bottle after Lake Vostok, the largest of Antarctica's almost 400 known sub-glacial lakes, and the location of the coldest naturally occurring temperature ever observed on Earth (-89°C/-128°F). This ancient, pristine body of water inspired us to create a product that delivers the purest, cleanest water, no matter where your adventures take you.

Our American-made and -tested high-quality carbon fiber filters produce 75 gallons of clean, healthy water, lasting 3 times longer than standard water bottle filters and being more cost-effective than bottled water. The Epic Vostok allows you to drink safely from water fountains at parks, airports, or schools, and is perfect for on-the-go commutes, camping trips, or overseas travel.

Each Urban filter, included with the Epic Vostok, replaces 550 single-use plastic water bottles. Our modular system is designed to grow with your family and perform for years to come, whether you're removing tap water contaminants or taking your bottle on an adventure.
