Our personal water filter straw will have an indefinite shelf life if unused and stored in a protected environment with moderate temperature and low ozone levels. The upgraded straw can not only connect to disposable water bottles with 28mm threading as a squeezable water filtration system, but it can also serve as a replacement filter for different gravity systems, including our own 6L gravity system "B08ZYMXLMH".

The upgraded water filter has a larger filtration capacity of 5,000 L (compared to 1,500 liters previously) and a faster water flow rate. To drink the filtered water quickly, first stand the dry water filter in drinking water for 1-2 minutes or rinse the straw from the mouthpiece side until the inside is wet. After each use, backwash with clean water and vertically place the straw to dry. To extend the straw water filter's lifetime, we suggest always using the best fresh water source to backwash the straw filter after each use. Note that the straw filter is not designed for seawater.

Our Upgrade 5-Stage Filtration System includes a coarse filter screen, double-layer PP cotton fiber, coconut shell activated carbon, and hollow fiber ultrafiltration membranes, which can remove 99.99999% of harmful substances (pollution, odor, chlorine, and organic chemicals) and improve the taste, while maintaining the water's essential mineral balance.

Compared to the 0.2-micron water purifier straws on the market, Membrane Solutions' 0.1-micron pore size water purifier straw maintains an optimum flow rate (16.9 fl oz/min / 500ml/min) and high filtration accuracy. Made of durable, food-grade, BPA-free plastics, our water filters have a smaller frame, are more convenient to use, and offer more filtered modes, making them ideal for connecting with a soft water pouch or disposable water bottle, and even as a replacement gravity filter for family and group use.
