The LifeStraw Community is a high-capacity, long-lasting, and ultra-durable water purifier with built-in safe storage, initially designed for survival and humanitarian work. The purifier meets the highest drinking water requirements set by the World Health Organization and the US EPA, removing virtually all viruses (99.999%), bacteria (99.9999%), parasites (99.99%), and microplastics (99.999%) from water. It also reduces chlorine, cloudiness, and improves taste. The tank can hold 50 liters, which can serve 100 people for 3 to 5 years, and the 4 safe water taps allow for more than one person to access safe water at a time.

The Included Autofill Kit is for optional use, ensuring communities have constant access to safe drinking water. Designed for routine use in community, educational, and institutional settings, the LifeStraw Community is easy to assemble on-site and requires no batteries, spare parts, or chemicals, making it perfect for point-of-use purification.

The advanced purification technology of the LifeStraw Community removes various contaminants, including Rotavirus, Hepatitis A, E.coli, Salmonella, Giardia, Cryptosporidium, microplastics, organic chemical matter, dirt, silt, and sand. The high-capacity design can hold 13 gallons (50 liters) at once, and it is ultra-durable for harsh conditions.

The LifeStraw Community has a lifetime of 26,000 gallons, enough for 100 people for 3-5 years. It is made with BPA-free and FDA-compliant materials, and it has a built-in backwash handle to ensure the longevity of the filter. The purifier requires no electricity, batteries, or replacement parts, making it easy to assemble, fill, and use.
