LifeStraw Go Series Replacement Membrane Microfilter with Carbon Filter

The 2-stage LifeStraw Go series replacement filter incorporates both a membrane microfilter and an activated carbon filter. This replacement water filter is only compatible with LifeStraw Go series water bottles purchased in 2023 or later, which feature a top lid that twists on to cover the mouthpiece. The filter removes bacteria, parasites, microplastics, and reduces chlorine, bad odor, silt, sand, and cloudiness, resulting in improved taste.

LifeStraw filters are rigorously tested to meet the drinking water protocols established by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and NSF International/ANSI. For every purchase, a child in need receives safe water for a year. The filter protects against 99.999999% of bacteria (including E.coli, Salmonella), 99.999% of parasites (including Giardia and Cryptosporidium), 99.999% of microplastics, chlorine, organic chemical matter, silt, sand, and cloudiness, while also improving taste.

The long-lasting membrane microfilter can last up to 1,000 gallons (4,000 L) and will stop allowing water to flow through once it has reached the end of its lifetime. The activated carbon filter, on the other hand, can last up to 26 gallons (100 L) of water with proper use and maintenance. It is recommended to replace the activated carbon filter when you notice a change in the smell or taste of your water.

It is important to note that this replacement filter is only compatible with LifeStraw Go series water bottles purchased in 2023 or later, and not with earlier models that feature the flip-up mouthpiece and carabiner attachment.
